Our School Director

Norma Brockman

Norma Brockman has been at the Red Balloon since 1995. After graduating with a BS in Elementary Education with a Minor in Special Education she began her teaching career in 1976 at a Montessori School in New Rochelle teaching 3’s and 4’s. Over the next 4 years she completed her masters in Early Childhood Education. After 5 years in New Rochelle she moved to a new teaching job in a Montessori school in

Riverdale as lead teacher in the 4/5 class. In 1988 she took a break from teaching to learn about business working as an office manager in a private business.
